International Petition To Evacuate Children From Fukushima

The Moms & Children Rescue Fukushima group has started a petition urging the Prime Minister of Japan to evacuate all children and pregnant women from further than the current 30km zone and also from hot spot areas.  The petition is open to all, not just those currently living in Japan. This is an opportunity for all of us in the international community to lend our voices. Please share, tweet and link the petition and urge others to sign.

Why is it taking the Japanese government and the UN to face up to this public health catastrophe? In the case of Chernobyl, the Soviet Union – a dictatorship – did a better job of protecting its citizens by taking the bold action that was necessary.

Please evacuate all pregnant women, babies and children from an area including the middle metro area of Tokyo all the way to the northern Honshu boundaries to somewhere either abroad or to the southern Ryuku islands to help keep them safe from the daily extreme and worsening radiation circumstances from Fukushima Dai ichi nuclear power plant, as well as from what is also likely problematic radiologically active steam releases, concealed, from Kashiwazaki Kariwa, Tsuruga, Onagaway, Tokai, Hamaoka nuclear power stations. Thank you very much. Please care for your people. Do not sacrifice them. The universe remembers all crimes.
