TEPCO claims no damage to Daiichi but now admits Daini has some vent stack damage. A cooling system has been installed at unit 4 for the spent fuel pool.
There was an anti-nuclear protest in Fukushima City. A large crowd demanded protection for children. Kan blasted the collusion between NISA and the power companies to influence public opinion on nuclear power. This photo has been making the rounds on twitter. The photo poster claims it is seafood from Fukushima and shows the distorted spine from the fish.
The Asahi Shimbun has an editorial about protesting. Some interesting changes have happened in recent weeks. Protests seem to be becoming more frequent with larger attendance. Citizens groups are networking and beginning to evolve into more organized actions. We hope this is a sign of good things to come as people band together to take on the daunting situation in Japan.
