Fukushima Victims To Speak In NYC
Organic farmer Sachiko Sato and her teenage children will be talking about their experiences in Fukushima. A group of Japanese anti-nuclear activists will also be speaking about the current situation in Japan and how all the risks and bad outcomes relate to NYC and the nearby Indian Point nuclear plant. Indian Point is an identical reactor design to the units at Fukushima Daiichi.
WHEN: Thursday, September 22, 12-2pm. Please bring a brown bag lunch. Soft drinks will be available.
WHERE: American Friends Service Committee Meetinghouse, 15 Rutherford Place between 15th and 16th Streets, and 2nd and 3rd Avenues in New York City.
