High Levels Of Radioactive Waste Being Allowed In Landfills In Japan
The environment minister Hosono has raised the limit on radioactive waste allowed in landfills from 8000 bq to 100,000 bq. This raise the limits, ignore the problem style of dealing with the radiation problems does nothing to solve the situation. It merely chooses to ignore the problem. Meanwhile radioactive sludge is piling up at local sewage plants as no clear plan has been developed to deal with the sludge.
