Japan To Send Food From Contaminated Region As Food Aid Overseas

Japan has announced they will use canned seafood as a food aid export to developing countries. The food will come from the region known to have contaminated seafood in Iwate, Miyagi and Fukushima Prefectures. The foreign ministry says it will help dispel radiation rumors about the food. Greenpeace released their recent testing of seafood from that region. The ministry of health recently found significant contamination in fish from the region.
