Switzerland To End Nuclear Power
Switzerland plans to phase out nuclear power over the next 20 years in a plan approved by their parliament. The country would make up for the power generation loss though hydroelectric and renewables. The phase out would see the first plant shut down in 2018 and no new nuclear development. Switzerland follows Germany and Italy as countries decide the risks of commercial nuclear power generation are too high.
