Tokyo Sidewalk Closed Due To High Radiation

A Setagaya Ward (Tokyo) sidewalk was closed due to high radiation. Local officials were informed by residents of the hot spot of about 2m x 1.5m in size. It had readings of 0.088 to 2.707 micro sievert. The city put traffic cones around the area to warn people not to walk there and is consulting with experts to determine how to decontaminate the area. There was no reason given for how the hot spot could have been created.
