JMA Says They Didn’t Report Increase In Leukemia In Japan

The JMA released a statement trying to stop a rumor that they reported a recent increase in leukemia in Japan. The JMA says they did not produce a report on leukemia and recent statistics. They were not saying there isn’t one either. The JMA stated is it too early to tell with such data. Normal leukemia has a much longer latency and acute leukemia is rare or would require a significant radiation dose over a short period of time.
