Huge Data Influx On Fukushima
A large number of reports and documents have been coming out in the last few days about Fukushima. This may be due to the one year anniversary coming up.
USGS released a report of US fallout. It showed some contamination in the west coast, north central US and some spots on the east coast. Why it took almost a year for the US public to be informed of this information has yet to be explained. Even with the long delay in releasing the information, USGS has been far more forthcoming with information than the NRC has been.
IAEA has released a new report on Fukushima. The report covers a number of recent issues including concerns about unit 2, environmental impact and their view of TEPCO’s current actions.
NRC recently released transcripts from their OPS center that were heavily censored. They have now released videos on youtube.
JAIF has released an environmental report update on the situation around Fukushima. They noted that air dose has gone down but fallout is still high.
The Investigation Committee on the Accident at Fukushima has released their interim report in English.
The NRC has released details about the changes to be made to safety systems post-Fukushima.
A considerable amount of data came out in a very short period of time. Check back for articles as our team goes through the information.
