MSIV Inspection At Unit 2

TEPCO did a robot inspection of the MSIV room of unit 2. No video of the work has been released but a handout and some photos were given to the press. What is most notable about this inspection is the absolute lack of visible damage. There appears to be no damage, or heat or water degradation. The radiation levels are unusually low. The highest reading in this room being 9.6 mSv/h. This inspection at least rules out the area and this section of the related pipes as being heavily involved in the reactor failure and meltdown.
