TEPCO Sells Off Real Estate, Still Loses 7 Billion USD
TEPCO recently announced they lost about 7 billion dollars in 2012. As part of the restructuring of the company they were ordered to sell off assets. It appears that has been going on yet it didn’t make a considerable dent in the company hemorrhaging money. They have planned to sell of 247.2 billion yen in real estate in the 3 years following the disaster. This equals about 2,492,270,400.00 USD
