US Federal Workers Group Sues NRC To Disclose US Dam Failure Risk To Nuclear Plants

PEER a group representing public workers has filed a lawsuit against the US NRC for their refusal to share information with the public about US dam failure risk. The probability of a massive dam failure destroying a US nuclear plant is higher than the probability of the Fukushima tsunami contributed nuclear disaster.

This risk is in place at 3 dozen US nuclear plants.

The US NRC has been removing dam failure risk information from public view and was caught suppressing a critical report on the dam failure risk in recent years. NRC engineering staff went public with this incident.
