TEPCO Releases More Details About Frozen Wall

TEPCO released a short video (in Japanese) giving more information about the test run of the frozen wall technology. The test location has been running for at least a month according to previous reports. The video provided a few more views of the equipment being used and the sealing capability. The test location appears to have been running successfully. This test has been going on in winter so it is unclear if they wall would perform equally well in the height of summer. The technology requires electricity to operate and could begin to thaw under a prolonged power outage.
