SimplyInfo.org Fukushima Proposals To Be Validation Tested In Japan
METI announced today in an email and press release that four ideas brought about by the IRID call for proposals will be funded by the Japanese government for further research. Mitsubishi Research Institute will manage the projects with a proposal process for individual labs to do the hands on work in the near future.
The four concepts that will be funded for validation are:
(1) Demonstration Project for Seawater Purification Technologies

(2) Demonstration Project for Technologies for Capturing Radioactive Substances
from Soil
Our proposal
(3) Demonstration Project of Technologies for the Decontamination of Contaminated
Water Tanks
*this is a new initiative not sent out for public proposal by METI/IRID
(4) Demonstration Project for Unmanned Boring Technologies
