Fukushima Workers With Maximum Exposure Could Come Back To Work

workersTEPCO announced that workers who exceeded 100 mSv in exposure during the initial disaster could soon return to work at the plant. Government rules require those workers to not work in radiation environments for five years following such an exposure. They did not clarify how this would impact workers who received over 250 mSv during their work.

TEPCO claims they would not push any of these workers back to the job site, most that were TEPCO employees had been given alternate job assignments. They did not say how this would impact workers of contractors at the plant.
