Sludge Solidification Technology Gets Trial Run At Fukushima Daiichi
A geopolymer technology from UK company AMEC Foster Wheeler will have a trial run at Fukushima Daiichi to solidify radioactive sludge produced at the disaster site. The technology has already been in use at nuclear sites in Europe. The trial at Fukushima Daiichi is a partnership between Fuji Electric, JAEA and AMEC Foster Wheeler.
