Fukushima Daiichi Contract Workers Receive Medical Checks
TEPCO is providing health checks on current and former contract workers at Fukushima Daiichi. The report appears to indicate this began in 2016. Workers will be screened for health problems and receive a follow up twice a year.
3,330 workers were screened.
21% (703) of those screened required some sort of follow up screening or medical care.
4% (141) of those screened “required thorough inspection”, what this involved is not explained.
52% of qualifying contractors have participated to date.
No information is provided about the types of screening, problems found or if any of these appear to be radiation related health problems.
