Various NHK reports state the following conditions now in Japan:
At 1am on 9/3 (JST), the center of Typhoon Talas is approaching Shikoku, now experiencing 25m/s (90km/h) of wind and rain
Many area in #Shikoku, #Chugoku, and Osaka will meet high tide and Typhoon Talas. DO NOT go close to ocean or river
At 1:08am on 9/3 (JST), Evacuation order was issued to 11,469 households around Miki, Kagawa, Shikoku #Japan
As at 1am on 9/3 (JST), about 50 building in Gunma and Saitama (near Tokyo) were flooded above floor level
