South Korea Expands Japanese Food Ban To 50 Products

South Korea has expanded their ban of food from northeast Japan to 50 products. They are also urging consumers to check the origin labels on processed foods. Green leafy vegetables were added to the list on top of fish from the region that was banned recently. Government and consumer groups have made increased warnings to consumers in South Korea. One group cited that 7 tons of Fukushima fish were imported to their country in the span of one week in August.
