Japan Power Companies Shift Focus To Non Nuclear Power
Japan’s power companies have been quietly shifting their focus to building new or restarting thermal power generation facilities. The country has largely done without nuclear power for the last 3 years showing the reactors are not needed to keep power supplied.
The shift of focus and planning shows the utilities don’t expect to restart nuclear power plants any time soon or that it is not a sure deal it will ever happen.
