TEPCO Will Not Meet Frozen Wall Deadline At Fukushima Daiichi
TEPCO has disclosed that they will not meet a deadline to have a portion of the frozen wall project done at Fukushima Daiichi. This follows the admission that contaminated water response work was also falling behind schedule. A partial excuse for the delay was the work stoppage after two workers died in a week at the plants in Fukushima prefecture. This may not be the sole reason as other work as been falling behind since before these work incidents.
