University Does Undisclosed Scans Of Fukushima Daiichi
These scans were never mentioned in any TEPCO literature, none of IRID’s documents nor METI’s reports on the Fukushima Daiichi disaster. Kyodo News announced today that Nagoya University conducted five muon scans on reactors 2 and 5 between April and July of 2014. They compared the two reactors and concluded that unit 2 “melted down”. This has been common knowledge for a number of years. So far no data, images or report has been made public on this work from the university, TEPCO or another reporting source involved with the disaster.
This again shows the level of dishonesty and lack of transparency in what is going on at the disaster site. If further information is published in the coming weeks we will post an update with that information.
