Sendai Nuclear Plant Could Be Hit By Typhoon Goni

The weather predictions for Typhoon Goni have it making a direct hit on the Sendai nuclear plant around Monday. It would only be a category 1 storm but could still cause problems due to heavy rain and winds. As we have documented previously, the roads in and out of the plant area are frequently near sea level and along river and sea shores. The storm could make some travel impossible.
