Fukushima Contaminated Soil Bags Washed Away In Floods

NHK is reporting that bags on contaminated soil and debris in Iitate Village were washed away in the recent flooding. About 30 of the large holding bags washed into a river. They did not offer any reporting about other similar incidents. Activists and local residents have been documenting and complaining about contaminated soil placement for years. Many of these bags have been deposited in marsh land, low lying areas near rivers and even some on sea front beaches.
