Chernobyl Workers Freed From Russian Occupation

The Kyiv Independent is reporting that workers at Chernobyl who had been there since the war started have been allowed to leave and volunteer replacements are now staffing the plant. Yesterday the nearby city of Slavutych reported that they had received humanitarian food aid from Ukrainian sources. They did not elaborate on how supplies were delivered with Russian forces still occupying the area. City staff has been working to keep electricity, heat, and water working in the town despite being in the middle of the area near the Belarus border that is currently controlled by Russian troops.
