Chernobyl Survivors Call For International Safety & Response Team

Survivors of Chernobyl pointed out the international dysfunction surrounding nuclear power. Surviving technical engineers from Chernobyl offered their assistance to the Japanese government but were rejected. Then TEPCO tried to hire the same people under contractors as nuclear gypsies. Andreyev makes two very clear points at the end. We need enforceable international safety standards and an international nuclear “swat” team to deal with potential disasters.
