Close to 75% do not have confidence in the government to handle another major disaster.
82% do not think the government would help them in the event of a disaster.
84% say the economy is in poor shape.
8 in 10 people disapprove of TEPCO’s handling of the situation.
9 out of 10 view the JDF’s work in relief effort positively.
Only 5% are confident in the safety of the nation’s nuclear plants.
A slight majority want to shut down the nation’s nuclear reactors.
