80% Of Japan’s Nuclear Reactors Shut Down

As of Thursday JST 80% of Japan’s nuclear reactors will be shut down. Kyushu Electric’s #2 reactor at Sendai will shut down for maintenance. It is unclear when or if it will be allowed to restart. Kyushu has been under fire since they were caught using employees to influence public meetings on nuclear power approvals. More at NHK News.
