TEPCO’s Tents For Tanks Plan At Fukushima Daiichi
TEPCO has told the NRA that they intend to cover contaminated water tanks at Fukushima Daiichi with some form of tent to help eliminate rainwater build up and contamination.
TEPCO presented 6 ideas for how they might try to cover the tanks. Some appear more effective than others. There does not appear to be a timeline or deadline for this work yet.
1 proposed gutter + Weir cover system
2 to plan tank top roof installation plan.
3 proposal for membrane material tent
5 large tents method
6 proposed permanent structure systems
