Fukushima Unit 1 Roof Mostly Removed

unit1_webcam_oct_1_2015 TEPCO has removed most of the roof from the cover building of unit 1 at Fukushima Daiichi. This work began in July but has been repeatedly delayed without much explanation.

Removing the roof is the first part of the eventual plan to clear debris off of the reactor refueling floor.
